ARMOURY & BLACKSMITHING I am an active member of the Society for Creative Anachronism in the Shire of Arrowsreach, Kingdom of Lochac. I am primarily involved in Heavy Fighting, Rapier and Marshalling. My persona within the SCA is known as Lord Everard Sefar. I incorporate elements of forging-: hardening, annealing and tempering into my armouring, if the period design requires them or if it especially requested. If any of these processes are used it will be mentioned in the description. I offer a range of services including SCA Legal Armour, polishing service and armour repairs. One of my best selling lines. Constructed from 1.6mm mild steel which has been lightly dished to increase strength. It's important that the middle lame covers the point of the shoulder. Very comfortable and an essential item of armour for new fighters. AUD $50 Available in 1.2mm stainless steel for AUD $85.00. Please note: the basic 5 lame style covers approximately 9 inches and each additional lame will add another a further inch of coverage. I'm more than pleased to add more lames for $5.00 each. These elbows are made of 2mm mild steel which have been forged, raised and heat treated. The fans are made from 1.6 mild steel with an additional layer of brass that has been riveted together. A popular feature of these elbows is the fans spin aiding in deflecting the blow. Please note this item comes un- strapped. AUD $120 |

1.6 mm mild steel two piece demi gauntlet with leather articulation. Comes with a double strap system which helps prevent your hand twisting within the demi exposing your knuckle of the small finger. Simple archer's knees made from 18g mild steel. These are light weight (approximately 250 grams per knee) and the deep dish combined, with the flared edge makes them very strong despite their weight. While the above knees are fitted with leather straps, I would strongly recommend lacing them directly onto chausers. AUD $70 Pair |

One piece hand forged (Yes forged not cast or a inferior welded ball on stick) offset mushroom stake. You will need to dress the hardy hole end of the stake to suit your anvil or clamp the stake into your leg vise. If you are going to use the clamping method please let me know in advance as I make the base with a different taper to aid in the clamping process. I'm more than pleased to forge any style of stakes to meet your needs. Please note "T" style stakes will made from two pieces and welded together.
